This is an exercise in scrapbooking
on the run, since you're putting it
together as things are happening, rather
than afterward. A great idea for weekend
road trips, because you can piece it
together when you stop for lunch, or
in the motel room at night.
What you'll need:
- Mini-scrapbook(s) (the kind with blank
pages inside, not plastic sleeves in
which to insert photos)
-
Camera - in this case a regular Polaroid
or an I-Zone for instant gratification
pictures (the point is that you don't
want to wait to get the film developed)
- Anything you want to include along
the way - ticket stubs, quirky postcards,
paper placemats from a diner....you
get the idea
- A glue stick
- A pen
Instructions:
Whatever it is that you're doing - a
weekend in Niagara Falls, or a day trip
to go to yard sales- document your adventure
along the way. Take lots of candid pictures
and have fun with it. stick the stickers
or paste the Polaroids into your scrapbook,
write down where you were, make note
of the new friends you made add postcards,
or business cards of places you shopped,
get people you meet to sign the book
now you've got a great reminder of your
trip!
