What you'll need:
-
Fabric scraps (enough for three pouches)
- Thread and needle, or a sewing machine
- Filler material: long grain rice funnel
Instructions:
- Cut the fabric into six 5" x 5" squares.
This gives you plenty of seam allowance.
- Put the right sides of the fabric
squares together (i.e. place the sides
with the pattern facing toward one another.)
- Sew three sides of the square, leaving
1/4" or 1/2" seam (if you're sewing
by hand you need to keep the stitches
very close together so that the filling
won't fall out)
- Sew along the fourth side of the square
- leave a few inches open so that you
can turn it right side out turn the
square right side out
- Use your funnel to fill the pouch
with rice
NOTE: Do not fill the pouch completely
full. You want the pouch to feel floppy
in your hand sew the opening closed
juggle!
