Safety-Pin Bracelet

What you'll need:
- Approximately 45 safety pins (I used silver-coloured ones. You can use any length you like, all that changes is the number of beads you will use.)
- Approximately 275 seed beads (based on the use of 3cm safety-pins)
- Elastic cord (not the flat stuff, the kind that looks like spaghetti. I used silver-coloured cord so that it blends in with the pins. You may want to bring the cord with you when buying the pins - or vice versa - so you know that the cord fits through the holes at either end of the safety pin)
- Good flat surface to work on a fabric placemat is helpful to keep the beads from rolling away from you patience

Instructions:
Begin putting the beads on the pins. I found about 6 beads per pin worked best. once you have beaded all the pins, you need to put them on the elastic cord. I found it easiest to string the cord through the hole in the bottom of the safety pin first. Once this is done, wrap it around your wrist to make sure you've used enough safety pins cut the cord and tie it in a knot. put the cord through the hole on the head of the safety pin. On the pins I used, this top hole was smaller than the bottom hole. I had to pass the cord through just underneath the hole, and pull it up into the hole to make it stay. This is where patience comes in. once the pins are strung, cut the cord and tie another knot. now you're ready to go!
